www.govtrack.us monitors allow you to keep a careful watch over the government. You can monitor subject areas to track bills in Congress related to those topics, or you can track individual bills, and Members of Congress — but you have to tell GovTrack what you’re interested in.
Monitors are available for every person, bill, subject term or committee in Congress. Find the Monitor box on the appropriate page. A picture of a Monitor box is shown to the right. Click the Monitor button to subscribe to events that are relevant to the page that you are on.
Your tracked events page will then list all recent matching events for all of your monitors, and if you’re registered (it’s free) and you’ve turned on email updates you will get those events sent to you by email. Your tracked events page also includes a link to a RSS or Atom news feed customized to the monitors you’ve chosen.
